Morgan Lewis Windmill

Morgan Lewis Windmill 19 Morgan Lewis Windmill 18 Morgan Lewis

This magnificent monument is the largest and only completely intact windmill surviving in the Caribbean. Dating back since the 18th century, the wind-powered mechanism that was used to ground sugarcane, is still operational today, which is what puts Morgan Lewis Windmill on the map. Let us take you to the parish of St. Andrew where, in addition to taking a guided or self-guided tour of the historical mill, you get to view a fascinating demonstration of the mill in work, taste the delicious cane juice, and enjoy the captivating views of the east coast and the lush Barbadian countryside. At this stop there is also the quaint Grind Artisan Cafe, where you can grab a light snack and a delicious milkshake.
