5 AMAZING ATTRACTIONS IN BARBADOS

On this beautiful island, there are many magnificent places to discover. If you are new to the island and not sure where to go, we have many island tours to choose from. In this blog, we chose 5 of our favourite attractions for the month of January below:

1.Copacabana Beach Bar & Grill


First on the list is Copacabana. This party/ bar & grill spot resides opposite the lovely Brownes beach (one of the longest beaches on the island). This Beach Bar and Grill has the beautiful views of pure white sand and blue waters which are perfect for swimming or you can lay in a beach chair and enjoy a sunbath. In the background, you will have the sweet music of calypso, reggae, R&B. Once the sun goes down Copacabana turns into a prime nightspot. 2. Flower Forest


The Flower Forest is a natural wooded area and tourist attraction located near the village of Bloomsbury, Saint Joseph in Barbados. This scenic garden park is filled with an abundance of attractive flowering plants and tropical trees that are native to the Caribbean. If you are lucky you may come across the infamous green monkeys who are frequent visitors to the forest. We have many tours that take you to visit the Flower Forest and other similar attractions. 3. Gun Hill Signal Station & Lion


This stunning structure created in 1818 gives a panoramic view of the landscape below. It has been refurbished and is filled with a collection of military memorabilia. Stroll along the path and reach the tower or go downhill and to see the white lion. Come and see the Lion for yourself on one of our tours!

4. Bathsheba “ The Soup Bowl”


Bathsheba is located in the parish of St. Joseph. This gorgeous beach stretches along the coastline along with rock formations that sit in the Atlantic. This rugged coast is where visitors and locals alike soak in the Bathsheba pools and enjoy the refreshing sea breeze. Bathsheba is a popular spot for fishing and surfers. Locals and international surfers gather here to either ride the waves or participate in surfing contests.

5. Oistins


Oistins is the place to be to get the true essence of Bajan cuisine. This popular spot is located on the south coast of Barbados in the parish of Christ Church very close to Grantley Adams International Airport. Friday nights are typically the best night to go as the place is buzzing with people, music and action. There are many food vendors to choose from and they all sell the same thing so have a seat at any of the outdoor eating tables and enjoy the delicious Bajan food and Caribbean music.
